Dear pilots, dear teams,
we would like to invite you to the ballooning event of the year 2022! In the company of the best ballooning enthusiasts from all over the world, we plan to enjoy ourselves, eat and drink the best the region has to offer and most of all fly above the beautiful plains of Pomurje Region.
We have planned numerous activities from 16th till 23th of September 2022, join us and we will do our best to make your stay unforgettable!

Registration: from 15. 02. 2022 until the maximum number of entrants is reached
Maximum number of entrants: 40
Entry fee for fiesta
- 200 EUR for the period from 16th till 23th of September
- Additional deposit of 200 EUR for gas (which will be a credit for the final gas bill)
- Teams flying special shape balloons or balloons bigger than 3.400 m3 please contact the organizer directly at fiesta@hotairballoons2022.com.
Entry fee covers:
- pilot pack,
- opening and closing ceremony,
- morning snacks with tea or coffee,
- organization of fiesta flights,
- maps of the flight area,
- organisation of key-grab with prize (motorboat ROTO 450s www.roto-motorboats.com)
Entry fee does not cover:
- propane, the price of propane will be the average officially published price for gas in the gas storage for domestic heating during the championship. The organizer reserves the right to change the price of propane in case of significant changes of propane market price,
- other social activities,
- accommodation.
Entry conditions:
- fiesta pilots cannot operate commercial flights,
- pilot license valid for at least 1 year on the entry date,
- minimum 50h PIC on the entry date,
- maximum balloon size 3.400 m3, for bigger balloons please inquire individually at
fiesta@hotairballoons2022.com.
Additional requirements on Check-In:
- minimum 2 take offs and 2 landings in the last 3 months.
